New ConstructionWindows & doors
In from the earliest design phases, not handed a schedule at the end.
The approachNew Construction
We join custom builders, architects and homeowners at the earliest design phases and specify high-performance windows and doors that align with the architectural vision and the structural requirements of the home. From detailed specifications and manufacturer coordination through delivery, every opening is resolved with precision.
Where the workconcentrates
- 01
Getting in before the elevation is fixed
An opening is cheapest to change while it is still a line on a drawing. Once the header is sized and the structure is out for permit, the window has to fit what already exists — so the useful conversation happens early, not at the schedule stage.
- 02
Structural coordination
Rough opening, header, buck detail and anchorage are agreed with the builder and the structural engineer rather than assumed from a catalogue dimension. A large multi-panel unit is a structural decision as much as an architectural one.
- 03
Lead times against the build schedule
Custom units are made to order and the order date is set by working backwards from when the opening has to close. Getting that wrong stops the trades queued behind you, not just the glazing.
- 04
One schedule, reconciled
Every unit is checked against the elevations and the plan before anything is placed. A mis-sized unit on a custom home is months, not days.
What gets resolvedbefore a single unit is ordered
Every project runs the full schedule. On new construction, these three carry the most weight.
- 01
Opening and structure
Rough opening dimensions, header and buck detail, anchorage, and how the unit loads into the structure around it.
- 02
Performance and code
Design pressure, impact rating, water and air infiltration, and the approvals the jurisdiction will want to see before anything is installed.
- 06
Sequencing and delivery
Lead times set against the build schedule, crating, staging, and what arrives on site in what order so the trade behind you is not waiting.
